As MHS has been learning about and practicing with our new Evolv weapons detection system, we have discovered that three ring binders are alerting in the detection device. We want students to be able to come through each morning and not get held up because something necessary for school, like a three ring binder, is alerting.
I have shared this information with all of our MHS teachers, and we all are requesting that students refrain from bringing three ring binders to MHS. Students can use spiral notebooks, folders to hold important papers and handouts, and composition notebooks.
We look forward to seeing you Thursday night and will be happy to answer any questions you have!
