The Varsity Girls' Basketball game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled; we will start the Varsity Boys' Basketball game at 6:00 pm.

Good morning! Here are some events that are coming up at MHS.
Wednesday, 12/6/23 - Interest meeting for Chesapeake Bay Governor's School in the media center at MHS at 6:00 PM. This meeting is for students in 8th and 9th grades and their families who are interested in applying to the Chesapeake Bay Governor's School. Students are eligible to apply during their 9th grade year.
Tuesday, 12/12/23 - MHS Choir and Jazz Band Concert in the auditorium at MHS at 6:30 PM.
Thursday, 12/14/23 - MHS Band Concert in the auditorium at SCW at 6:00 PM.
Monday, 12/18/23 - B Day
Tuesday, 12/19/23 - A Day
Wednesday, 12/20/23 through Wednesday, 1/3/24 - School is closed for winter break

Middlesex Athletics for November 27-December 2, 2023
Chesapeake Bay Governor's School Glenns Campus invites families of prospective and current students to join us for an evening showcasing the CBGS Glenns program. Faculty will be on hand to discuss the program, and students will be presenting recent class projects and research. This event is open to all current CBGS Glenns students and families, as well as prospective 8th, and 9th grade students from Gloucester, King and Queen, Mathews, Middlesex, and New Kent County public schools.

CBGS Overview: The Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School (CBGS) provides high-ability and gifted students from the Northern Neck and the Middle Peninsula with a rigorous curriculum through enrichment, exploratory, investigative, and career awareness experiences. Through the integration of math, science, technology, and research, woven with marine and environmental sciences, students have the opportunity to foster an appreciation and respect for environmental issues. In addition, students may earn dual enrollment credits for each course through Rappahannock Community College (RCC).

National School Psychology Week
Due to a high wind restriction on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, Chincoteague cannot travel to Middlesex today. The regional game scheduled for this evening at 6:00 PM has been moved to tomorrow, Thursday, 11/2/23, at 6:00 PM at MHS.

Chargers of the first quarter this year were selected by faculty and staff at MHS.
Middlesex volleyball will host Colonial Beach Monday, October 30, 2023 at 6:00 PM for the Region 1A quarterfinal game. Tickets are $7, and passes are not accepted for regional games.
